“Having Dog Guard of Eastern CT/RI install an underground fence for my Basset Hound was a great experience from start to finish. Eric was a pleasure to work with. He clearly explained everything I needed to know about the product, was very flexible when working around my schedule, and gave us great pricing when compared to other fencing companies (discount for having a rescue dog). He arrived exactly on time on the day of installation (pet peeve: contractors who say they're going to be at my house at a certain time, then don't show up till an hour or so later), completed the installation in a couple hours in the morning, then spent the next hour or so introducing Lucy to the fence. She learned her boundaries very quickly (within a week), after which Eric returned with his own dog for distraction training. (Lucy passed with flying colors!) After that, he followed up several times to make sure everything was going well. All in all, the fence has been a great investment, allowing me to let Lucy out without having to be at the end of a 30' tether and giving me peace of mind while she's out exploring her yard. If you're considering an underground fence for your dog, I most highly recommend Eric Orkney and Dog Guard of Eastern CT/RI. ”
